Taking It To The Bank was released on May 31, 2011 with a fabulous release event at The Beachland Ballroom.For over a year and a half now we have been working on a very special project at the studio. The studio, Abydos Productions in conjunction with the record label, Abydos Records have teamed up with renowned musician and song writer David Krauss to put together a full length album titled "Taking it to The Bank.". We took 12 songs written by David and had 45 Cleveland area musicians put their spin on them. We now have 12 songs from Reggae to Rock and Blues to Bluegrass. To keep a common theme between all of the tracks, each song feature a harp solo by David."So we now have an album, What does this mean? How can we all help others who are less fortunate?"We are happy to announce the best part of the album. This album helps to support the hungry men, women and children of Cleveland. Together Abydos Records and David Krauss have been working with the Cleveland Foodbank on their Harvest for Hunger food drive. Each copy of the "Taking it to The Bank" album sold will provide at least 16 meals to the hungry folks of Cleveland. How cool is that? :) |
